7)  In consultation with the Regional, students committee representatives and operational
                        committees,   coordinate the external communications of the society;

                    8)  Promote the society’s interests and actively participate in recruiting new members;

                    9)  Contribute to CSHS’s newsletter, website and social media platform;

                    10)  Liaise with the webmaster, the student committee and the secretary for updating the
                        website and the social media platforms

                    11)  Ensure that the society is up-to-date in term of social media.

               g)  Regional Representatives – Up to five (5) regional representatives shall be directors.
                    Regional representatives shall represent on the board the particular interests of members in
                    these geographical regions of Canada.

                    1)  Assist in organizing annual meetings of the society;

                    2)  Promote the society’s interests and actively participate in recruiting new members;

                    3)  Contribute to CSHS’s newsletter and website.

               h)  Student  Representative – One (1) student representative shall be director. The student
                    representative shall represent on the board the particular interests of members in the
                    student/postdoctoral fellow group.


                    4)  Assist in connecting/liaising the society to the students/postdoctoral fellows;
                    5)  Promote the society’s interests and actively participate in recruiting new members;


                    6)  Contribute to CSHS’s website and Facebook pages.



               The powers and duties of all other officers of the Society shall be such as the terms of their
               engagement call for or the board or president requires of them. The board may from time to time
               and subject to the Act, vary, add to or limit the powers and duties of any officer.

        7.02  Vacancy in Office

               In the absence of a written agreement to the contrary, the board may remove by majority vote,
               whether for cause or without cause, any officer of the Society. Unless so removed, an officer
               shall hold office until the earlier of:

               a) The officer’s successor being appointed,

               b) The officer’s resignation or


               c) Such officer’s death.

               If the office of any officer of the Society shall be or become vacant, the directors may, by
               resolution, appoint a person to fill such vacancy.
